Hi — I’m Stefanie: dual board‑certified nurse practitioner (NP), wife, mom of three, rescue‑dog wrangler, and founder of Aesthetics Anonymous. By day, I’m immersed in public health emergency response; some weekends, I round as a hospitalist; and in the evenings and remaining weekends, I work to address what I call the epidemic of unintentional self‑care neglect.
For nearly 30 years, I’ve devoted myself to caring for others — from bedside nurse to acute and primary care NP to active‑duty officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. I’ve deployed nationwide and abroad to respond to natural disasters, epidemics, and urgent health crises, experiences that cemented my belief that compassion, science, and service must be at the heart of care.
Like many women, I spent years pouring into others without taking the time to pour into myself. Not because I believed in neglect, but because I thought life demanded
it — balancing a career, raising a family, and holding communities together. Earning my doctorate led me to aesthetics through research on medical uses of neurotoxins for headaches, muscle tension, and hyperhidrosis. That doorway revealed where science and artistry meet to empower confidence, promote healing, and fortify identity.
Since then, I’ve trained extensively in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, microneedling for rejuvenation, scar and stretch mark reduction, and hair loss. I approach aesthetics with clinical precision and personal intention — not as a side hustle, but as a meaningful extension of my commitment to serve.
Aesthetics Anonymous is a quiet, mission-driven movement dedicated to combating burnout. It’s for people like me — those who historically have kept others afloat while we silently and slowly sink. Here, self‑care isn’t a luxury; it’s a strategy for long‑term wellness. If doing something for yourself feels uncomfortable, I make it meaningful. Investing in yourself fuels your ability to keep giving — and supports worthy causes.
I’m proud to offer a 15% discount to military personnel, veterans, nurses, teachers, and first responders, as well as to anyone donating a minimum of $40 to Fidos for Freedom, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that trains service dogs for individuals with hearing loss, mobility challenges, or combat-related PTSD. Service should be honored. Self‑care should be accessible.
Whether you keep your journey private or shout it from the rooftops, I’ve got you. This is your space — no pressure, no perfection, no apologies. You are one real conversation away from beginning your journey.
Yours in continued service via syringes, science, and unapologetic intention,
Stefanie
